APRILSKI SUSRETI 02 - VERTIGO

Kot gost manifestacije APRILSKI SUSRETI 2002 se bo Neven Korda v ponedeljek 15. 4. udeležil programa Vertigo, filmske sekcije manifestacije. Korda bo pred Happy Centrom beograjskega SKC ob 12. uri odkril Začasni Spomenik, monomonitorsko inštalacijo NOVI NOVI FILMI, ob 21. uri pa izvedel javno predstavitev interaktivnega CD-roma 'BODOČNIKI, VIDEO IZ PODZEMLJA', ki je reciklaža zapuščine FVVidea, sub video produkcije iz osemdesetih.


Gost AS02 Neven Korda će u ponedeljak 15. 4. ispred Happy Centra u 12. sati otkriti Privremeni Spomenik, monomonitorsku instalaciju NOVI NOVI FILMOVI, u 21. sat će izvesti javno predstavljanje interaktivnog CD-roma 'BODOČNIKI, VIDEO IZ PODZEMLJA', koji je reciklaža zaostavštine FVVidea, ljubljanske subkulturne video produkcije iz osamdesetih godina 20. veka.

JESENSKO TIHOŽITJE. Već danima pada kiša i dani su prijatno mračni. Leno se dodirujemo, polako ližemo i čekamo. Kuhamo si čajčke i dugo se gledamo u oči. Leno putuju ruke, leno je legla kiša na hladna stabla, polako prolazi dan. Dotakni me, polako, molim te.

Uniquness of the moment. UNIQUNESS OF THE EXPIRIANCE. UNIQUNESS OF OUR LIFES. TIME IS A NOMAD. Nomad is a passanger who never comes back. YES. NO. In the beginning we didn't like the image of reality. Then we put that reality into the question. And from now there are only the artificial worlds.

ŽIVLJENJA Listam neki časopis i pročitam: Melankolija nije bolest nego prekrasna karakterna osobina puna dubine, unutarnje kreativnosti i tihe čežnje. Pospremam svoje knjige i nađem reprodukciju Maksima Sedeja Melankolija. Zalepim je na zid iznad radnog stola. Sa porodicom idemo na ručak k prijatelju. Kao obično prelistavam knjige. Kod nekog našeg filozofa čitam: Melankolija je objekt želje okraden za svoj uzrok. Neki naš pesnik citira: božanska kreativna moć melankolije. Otvorim rečnik slovenskog književnog jezika: Melankolija je duševno stanje značajno za čoveka melankoličnog temperamenta. Otvorim latinski rečnik: melancholicus 3 - tužan, jadan. Pogledam na sliku Maksima Sedeja. Kćerka piše svoje priče u kompjutor. Sva ta melankolija naokolo. Bezkonačna melankolija sve žive prirode. Svemir i stvarnost su indiferentni.

BODOČNIKI / THE FUTURISTS - AN UNDERGROUND VIDEO
THE FUTURISTS

A VIDEO FROM UNDERGROUND Each and every thing has a pre-history and many circumstances with which it co-habitats. How to describe the projects, co-workers and work technology of a period in as greater detail as possible? When the word comes to Zemira and me, two larger periods occur: the initiation period in the 1980's and the realisation period in the 1990's. In Bodočniki - an underground video the FVVideo period [Initiation] is recycled, and this period is finished with the Triumph of Desire in 1989, or, to be more precise, in February 1990 when it became publicly available. The material is interesting enough to represent a rounded up video activity. It does not need any explanations as regards the circumstances in which it emerged. Even more - it marks that situation, that moment with great affection. On such a readily available medium as the CD-ROM it seemed worthwhile to publish as many as possible original clips, which offer the best picture of the video itself.

Bodočniki - an underground video is divided into two (sub)periods 1982 - 1985 and 1985 - 1989. The dividing line is defined with the perception of the video as an important creative medium and life choice. The difference between both (sub)periods can also be found in the technology of making the video. The two boarders are defined by two cassettes - So young and Search for the Lost Time. It is interesting that none of the two cassettes were edited in Ljubljana.

People, with whom we co-created the images, are (I hope precisely enough) stated at each individual project. Taking into account the picture language and the thoughts as regards the starting points of this language, and especially taking into account the visual contribution of this CD-ROM, Goran Davide is especially exposed (he died in 1989). On one hand his arrival to the FV 112/15 Theatre enabled the movement towards the (let's say) technological presentations, and on the other hand his work with real time computer animations is the best definition and illustration of the video language, which was researched by FVVideo. That is why the clips include everything that remained from his work in original. The other such personality (who was not a member of FVVideo) is Marijan Osole Max. Max not only gave the Ljubljana scene of the time a relevant video tool (which was elsewhere performed by state institutions) but he also showed the way towards authentic video with his projects.

Osim glasbenoj ili pop publici je predavanje namenjeno i onim koje zanimaju tehnike rada na videu, koje zanima razmišljati o rešavanju savremenih estetskih i drugih formalnih i idejnih zagonetka. Znači u tom predavanju na jedan 'cross-over' način putujem kroz umetnička, video, glasbena, društveni [subkulturni] aktivizam osamdesetih u Ljubljani.

The recycling of FVVideo activities.

Video [sound and picture] is digitalised from original formats [VHS, UmaticLowBand, Video8]. Choosen sekvences are adopted for compossing in Macromedia's Flash.
In this 'recyclacion' of FVVideo legacy from the 80's a great number of original cutouts of subcultural activities of that time can be foud.
